What Customers Say About Samsung M620 Upstage Phone, Black (Sprint):

after about one year the charger stopped working on it, I had to wiggle it and set it just right to charge it. the music is cool, and i like the whole MP3 player idea.

also don't bother buying a blue tooth headset for it because the options for it sucks. I've had my upstage for almost two years, and i have the case with the spare battery, and I think its a piece of junk, I bought the LG lotus because even with two batteries it doesn't keep a charge.

if you think about buying this, i strongly recommend not. Unlike most phones that use blue tooth, this phone doesn't play music through the headset, the only way is to use the long adapter and plug in a headset (convenient).

I dont think so. but its not enough reason to buy it.

other then that.enough said

I do suggest this phone. It's very fun.

i like it and all, but the constant flipping, does get annoying. and i'm not clumsy, but it always seams to be slipping out of my hands.

i've had this phone for about maybe 3 months. more fun that the razr or however you spell it.

It's also bad that the keypad thing on the music side, you barely have to touch it, so it always goes into the internet, when i don't have free internet, and the flip button is easy to press. My aunt got me my phone, and i really do like it.

and easy to have in your pocket durring school, without it sticking out =]. but in settings, go into sensitivity, and put it on 2 or 3.

That was the fate of my Samsung Upstage, from a moving vehicle at high speed. The only real saving grace of this phone is that it's supposed to be an MP3 player, but even the audio quality is poor.If you're a seventeen year old and need to impress your friends then this may be the phone for you. Hopefully it was completely destroyed so no one else had the unfortunate experience of operating it.The Upstage is the most frustrating, unreliable and most user unfriendly piece of equipment I've ever owned. Everything about this phone sucks, from the ridiculous ring tones to the tedious flip screen process just to give and recieve text messages. Otherwise, if you're a professional that needs equipment that actually works you'll probably want to pass. The bottowm line.another worthless, cheap gimmick from Sprint.

I've had this phone for almost a year now. It hasn't held a charge for months. I haven't used that side of the phone for about seven months.

They repaired it for free because it was under the manufacturer's warranty. It takes every ounce of my being to not throw it against a wall and watch it explode into a million pieces. Within the first month of owning it, I had to send it to be serviced because something with the large screen got jacked up.

I'm not sending it back to samsung because I'll have to pay for it. About three months later, the button pad on the mp3 player side stopped working properly. I can't even use that side of the phone anymore.

And the phone doesn't hold a charge at all anymore--with or without the goofy battery pack hooked on. It malfunctions all over the place--powers down all by itself, doesn't log every call, other stuff.Instead of paying to have it repaired just so it can come back to me and have another long list of problems a month later, I've opted to wait the year out and get my discount on another phone.

I can say with confidence that this was a very good phone to use. Just about the only problem I ever had with this phone was the ascending ringer. It isn't fair to compare it with a dedicated mp3 player.

I used it for the 2 year contract, then upgraded to the Instinct. The call clarity was good, and i rarely had any dropped calls. I must say that I got tons negative Intel before I bought mine.

The camera does about as well as any 1.3 meg camera, there again compared with other 1.3 cell cams NOT a dedicated Camera. The reception is better than my old SAM A900 the battery is twice as much (while in the wallet case) mp3 functioned well, not as good as my ipod, but then again this is first and foremost a mobile phone. I think it's sad that a lot of people give this phone's mp3 player flak.

Texting with this phone was a breeze, i especially liked the word dictionary function. But I understood the purpose.
